By tapping on an icon on the map, additional information about the location can be accessed via a detailed description popup. Each Shrine, Side Quest, Shrine Quest, and Korok Seed includes a short description. To keep track of progress, checklists are available for Shrines, Side Quests, Shrine Quests, Mini Bosses, Treasures, and Korok Seeds. Syncing data or sharing it with multiple devices is possible through iCloud sync.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles. The game takes place in an open-world environment and features a detailed physics engine, high-definition visuals, voice acting, and a departure from the series' usual conventions. Link, the main character, must defeat Calamity Ganon to save the kingdom of Hyrule. Released in 2017, it received universal acclaim from critics who praised its gameplay mechanics and exploration opportunities. The game is available on both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U platforms.
